For the 10 year anniversary of when Nadja and I met, we hunted out some of the cherry blossoms around Berlin. We cycled through some lovely parks, and made it to the Kirschblütenallee (Cherry Blossom Avenue) on the site of the former Berlin Wall to enjoy this amazing area. Spring may finally be here!
Nadja and I took on a lovely tour of some lakes in Brandenburg during a weekend trip to visit Nadja’s mother. This was a fantastic tour through pine forests, over canals with a spectacular sunset and a bonus beaver sighting!
The second NinJa Cycles tour took place in the beautiful Harz region in central Germany. We were joined by Nadja’s cousin and her boyfriend for a fantastic tour through the Harz National Park, historic towns and even a sight of the steam Brockenbahn (Brocken Train).
This is first edition of a new series – NinJa Cycles – where Nadja and I head out to explore together! NinJa is our couple name by the way. In this ride, we went to the lovely Falkenhagener See and explored the Spandauer Forst around Eiskeller in Spandau.
